Jess Schutz, LCSW

Jess is a firm believer that feeling seen and heard is the key to resilience and healing.  She has experience working with depression, anxiety, challenges with cultural identity, chronic trauma, grief, and loss. She believes that everyone has resiliency and she is committed to supporting individuals to find it.

Jess graduated with her MSW from University of California at Berkeley in 2009.  She obtained her LCSW in 2013 in California. Since then, she has lived all over the country providing counseling services before settling in PA.  She currently holds a PA clinical license (LCSW).  She has worked as a therapist in the community,  jails, crisis stabilization units, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.  She also has experience working in Emergency Departments and medical floors specializing in trauma and discharge planning.  

Jess has participated in many trainings around Clinical Supervision for those wishing to obtain their license as a clinical social worker.  She provides individual and group clinical supervision.  She is deeply invested in cultural competency, education, and coaching.  Her goals are that supervisees leave clinical supervision feeling confident, capable, culturally competent and have created a network of peers to consult with as they journey through their career.
