Tiara Baines, Pre-Licensed LPC

I am passionate about helping individuals through all walks of life, especially those who have faced trauma. Through my experience, I noticed the need and desire for individuals to obtain counseling. In my opinion, counseling is a way to express ourselves and assist in preventing or resolving issues. My goal is to allow my passion to serve as the passageway to freeing others from their difficulties.

I earned a bachelor's in psychology and clinical counseling from Lincoln University. I have a master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed the National Counselors Examination (NCE) through the National Board for Certified Counselors in November 2021. I am currently working on completing the clinical requirements to gain full licensure.

I have worked as a case manager, supervisor and program director providing assessments, clinical work, crisis intervention, and connecting individuals with resources. I provide individual, couples, groups, and family counseling. In addition, I specialize in working with children and adolescents. I have experience in working with a diverse population including individuals with mental health, intellectual disabilities, homeless population, as well as domestic violence and human trafficking victims.
